Just a work in progress shot from my next Such Rubbish update, which should be up sometime tomorrow if I can finish up the last panel by tonight. Something just seemed incredibly sweet about this panel, and I decided to post it after removing the base colors.
Yes, her retarded cat is named Albert Whisker after the coolest antagonist in video game history. He may drool and shed a lot, but I'm sure he's secretly plotting to take over the world during his time spent locked in the refrigerator...
But as for shading, I'm self-taught and I actually suck, so nope I don't have any tutorials! BUT! Lately I've begun shading in a new way...
I think when I taught you I told you to make a separate layer and then pick a slightly darker color for shading over the base colored image. But I kept getting the colors wrong or the shading would look silly, and I've found a new way to do it that's better looking, faster, AND way easier!
Make a new layer above the color and name it "shading" (duh), and then use BLACK to shade everything! Then just turn the opacity down so you can see what you're shading...later you can turn the opacity up or down until you have the right level of shading you're after.

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
